AI and Automation for SMEs: Interview at Diario AyE
Daniel Bicand, CEO of Galileo Studio, explains how AI and automation are transforming the operations of Spanish SMEs.

Daniel Bicand, CEO and co-founder of Galileo Studio, is clear that many companies ask for artificial intelligence without knowing exactly what they need it for. In his recent interview for the NO LIMITS podcast by Diario AyE, he shared how they detected this gap after working in large consulting firms and how they founded their agency to offer real solutions focused on specific needs.
"Most don't need magic AI, but useful tools that improve their operations."
Bicand defines his approach as a combination of software, digitalization, and artificial intelligence, but always from a deep understanding of the client's business.
The OAG Method: Organization, Access, and Generation
One of the keys to Galileo Studio is its OAG approach, a system based on:
- Organizing company data.
- Facilitating Access to information through chatbot assistants.
- Allowing automated Generation of documents and content.
This methodology is already being applied in sectors such as legal, psychology, or consulting, with very promising results. A concrete example is a firm that manages more than 100,000 monthly fines and now automatically extracts 98% of the relevant data with AI, eliminating hundreds of hours of manual work.
Automation with Human Supervision
Bicand insists that current AI still needs supervision. "We don't believe in 100% automation. We bet on co-pilot type projects, where a human validates each result generated by the AI," he explains. This avoids errors, improves trust in the systems, and ensures consistent results.
The Future of SMEs
The great advantage today is that the cost of software development has dropped significantly, allowing even small companies to access their own customized solutions. "We are seeing hyperspecialization, where each company can have tools tailored to their specific case. It's the future."
For those who haven't taken the step yet, Daniel's advice is clear: "Don't fight technology. Learn the basics, understand your operations, and find a partner to help you scale with common sense."
